Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

I’ll play Devil’s advocate for discussion sake:

If you have a player that recorded 17.5 sacks in a season (league leading and franchise record) and the defense was still bad enough to fail to make the post season, maybe he truly isn’t a priority - maybe everywhere else is a priority….

Idk, just tossing out ideas.

Rest easy. Tanner “Polluted” Hudson is back. With him and Drew “Urine” Sample, they might not even need Gesicki

I'm a fan of that move, not much money to keep a role player that has been pretty impressive when he gets a chance. Kinda curious where we are trying to head at TE. Resigned Hudson, Sample is a solid blocker that can occasionally catch a ball, they drafted All and McLachlan last year, and have the possibility of bringing Gesicki back. None of those guys are dynamic, but they don't need to be if Chase and Higgins are on the field. I was a big proponent of drafting Warren in the first if he is there, but we have bigger needs (though I would be stoked to end up with him).

On Trey, I really want him back and was pissed when I saw they were allowing him to seek a trade. But perhaps if we rob a team blind for a trade I will change my mind. But the guy has been our soul on defense aside from his talent, he would play with a broken leg to get to the QB and you can't replace that with most players. Unless they have an inside track to Garrett or Bosa (doubtful on both), I just don't think we can lose Trey.
