Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

Bengals keep getting hammered by the intradivision foes. They owned the North in '21, 3-3 in '22, now 0-5. Bad trend.

Jake had never seen a zone D before? He makes too many unbelievably boneheaded decisions. Yikes.

I could understand losing a tight game but to come out so flat for a game they needed? That I don’t get.

The biggest mistake the Bengals made this year was remaining competitive enough to not guarantee themselves a top 10 (or close) pick. Winning these games and contending for a playoff spot with no opportunity for Burrow to return in the playoffs was a waste. So forgive me for being entirely indifferent on what happened today, or what will happen the next two weeks. Losing out would be ideal.

The Bengals get flagged for another intentional grounding call with a receiver in the vicinity against the Chiefs, and it came at a crucial time again. The announcers and rules expert all agree that it was a bad call, which is rare. Browning has subsequently taken 2 crucial sacks (Jones was lined up offsides on the most recent, not called of course) when he might have thrown it away if not for the refs making that asshole intentional grounding call.

The calls that go to Chiefs I couldn't even invent in my head. Mahomes and Kelce are the biggest bitches in the world.

But just play practice squad guys next week and get the best pick we possibly can. Worthless season by every measurement.

Browning wasn't throwing it away under pain of death at the end of the game.

But yes the intentional grounding was bad
