I think the Cardinals are going with the Eagles DC for their HC, so Lou will apparently stay for next year. He's extremely important. I'd rather Zac bolt than Lou.
I’m fine with going LT, but if Mayer from ND drops to us, you take him in a heartbeat. He would be perfect in this offense, and he’d give us a ton of flexibility with multiple offensive schemes. He’s the biggest want for me for the first round. And if Dawand somehow slips to a late 2nd round pick, I would love to have him as well. I just think teams are falling in love with his measurables (mainly height and wingspan), and I doubt he’s available for our 2nd round pick.Thinking draft already and where we sit in draft position at #29 we have a lot of options this year. To me we clearly need a prospect at LT because Jonah Williams is straight garbage after getting more than enough years to prove himself. Volson, Cappa and Karras should all be back and I like that interior OL a lot. Collins at RT works if we restructure his money and he actually stays healthy...point is we need at least two OTs between FA and the draft. I would be happy with Darnell Wright, Anton Harrison or Cody Mauch (prefer Mauch because he played with Volson at NDSU)...I would also like Dawand Jones there if we are looking at a RT.
From there, I would anticipate we need another LB (we can't pay Pratt most likely), a CB (hopefully Awuzie is back but Apple is not a long term solution, drafting a CB first wouldn't upset me if it is the right guy like Ringo, Gonzalez or Banks), a speed RB in like the 4th/5th and a pass catching TE at some point to compliment Hurst/get a succession plan (I really like Josh Whyle from Cincy, keep him in town and he could contribute right away). The big losses I would brace yourselves for is Bates, Pratt, Collins if he won't restructure, Mixon (we can't pay him $7mil next year for what he actually produces) and maybe Apple or Hilton...we have a lot of cap space to bring back Burrow, Higgins, Hurst, Hubbard and some other key guys, which is where I think we will focus.

I think I’d be ok with Dalton Kincaid from Utah as well. Absolutely do not want Luke Musgrave out of Oregon State. Seems to be an average/below average blocker, and struggles catching the ball, too. I’d prefer to avoid another Jermaine Gresham if possible. If we miss out on first round TE talent, I wouldn’t mind Sam LaPorta from Iowa. They always produce solid TE’s and he had a pretty good college career. If Mayer is there absolutely take him, my assumption is that he isn't though when we pick. Dawand in the late first is probably a reach, but maybe we trade away the first for an early second pick and value to maybe take him? I agree first round is a little scary there. I think there's quite a few options early on.
