Damn, this team is actually fun to watch. I am a little worried with all the injuries today but hopefully none are too serious and we can rest them off in the bye week. To wit, we presumably get Burfict back next time we play. WHO DEY!

We're talking about one of the three most severe injuries/rehab procedures a player can undergo, and one that has historically sapped explosiveness for a period of time or forever. It's completely reasonable he's not yet back to a level of explosiveness where he would be an asset for the team over Hawk, etc.

Such a bummer, the guy is what would make this defense truly elite. The defense is very good right now but a susceptible to the run and in the flats...Burfict is the big cure to that. Regularly the DL gets big penetration but we don't consistently have LBs flowing through to blow up the gaps created by the penetration. Really hoping he is activated in the next week or two...they only have 3 weeks to activate him or he goes on the IR.

With an Ohio State bye week, all energy has got into Beat the Steelers Week. Fuck the Steelers. This would be almost a back breaker in the division if we can pull of the win and send them to .500 while we advance to 7-0. Also huge because the next two opponents are pretty week in Cleveland and Houston (although both are night games and we know the routine there). And word is Burfict won't be out there...has not practiced all week. The LBs are going to have to come up big to fill run lanes on Bell at the LOS with Burfict not back yet.
