Once again the Bengals do just enough one season to bring back all the little lemmings to get this:

Just wanted to do it in the official thread...I am done with Cincy sports. I have been a fan for all 24 years of my life and it has yielded me 0 years of pleasant memories. Oh we reached the Super Bowl "recently"? I was learning to crawl.

I will root for my Buckeyes and as for pro sports...I will root for my fantasy team. I do not give a [Mark May] about this team anymore and I have finally reached my breaking point. I am not a bandwagon fan...I gave it as much of a shot as possible but I am simply not a glutton for punishment. [censored] Paul Brown, [censored] the defensive secondary, and [censored] the Bengals. Peace. If this team gets sold or gets a new owner, I might think about coming back. Until then, I am done watching this abortion of a team. Sell the Browns, sell the Bengals, and banish pro football from Ohio for eternity.

NFL Redzone is the best thing that's ever happened to me... That and the way I watch Premier League football. Sure I'll continue to root on the same ol' Bungles, but I've got specific players I like to see doing well. Larry Fitzgerald is my favorite NFL player. The way he conducts himself on and off the field is absolutely pure class. If more players fashioned their game like Larry's, the NFL would be a much better and more respectable league.

God damnit I hate this team, but I'm not going to give up on them. I swore I'd never cheer them on after Marvin Lewis got an extension after a 3-13 (or 4-12, can't remember) season.. But they're my hometown/state team and it'd be foolish and feel REALLY weird rooting for another NFL team. I'm not saying I'm going to buy apparel, jerseys, tickets to games, etc. because I do not support Mike Brown, but I do respect the players that are on this football team. They deserve the support, not the organization, not the coaching staff.

Fuck Paul Brown? I really hope you mean Mike, unless you hate Paul for actually bringing the team to town. Yet I am old enough to actually remember the Bengals actually having some good teams. Paul did a fine job, and is a former Ohio State coach who won a national title.
