Cincinnati Bengals (2011 Season)

again, if Cordy is graded the same...what is the horrible thing about getting an extra pick to trade down and still get a guard that every expert says is a first round interior lineman?
Steerlers would have taken Cordy in about a minute if the Bengals had taken DeCastro...and the Bengals got an extra pick out of it..

I'm thinking this is a great move....

...assuming the Bengals take the G here...

and the fact the Steelers (who are really good at talent evaluation) took about 1 second to get in the pick just proves the Bengals still have no idea what they are doing. Had a chance to take someone the Steelers loved, at a position of huge need for the Bengals, and let him go by for a late 3rd rounder and most likely a guy no one in their right mind would pick in round 1.
That was just fucking insane.

It will make me feel a little better if they take Glenn, but I still like DeCastro better.

the film they just showed looked as good as DeCastro to me...Mayock loves the pick and that's good enough for me. they needed a guard and they got one plus an extra pick. Plus its a guy they got to work with first hand during the senior bowl.

win, in my opinion.

I personally love both picks. They addressed the two biggest needs going into the draft, and they did so with quality players with REAL potential. No complaints on my end. Sucks Cincy traded down, which ultimately led to missing out on DeCastro (to Pittsburgh of all places :shake:), but all in all, I don't mind it.

I'm surprised Hightower fell to the 25th pick. And what's up with the insane amount of D-linemen taken off the board?

Good God. I hate it. Passing up on Glenn and trading down was absolute horseshit. Bengals get an A on the first pick, and an F with subsequent decisions. Rounds 2 and 3 better be spectacular Mike Brown.

Or else? We know that old fuck isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
