Their fan base was hatched in the yolk of mediocrity, and now that the program is finally coming out of its shell, and getting to where it was cracked up to be, Mother Hen has poached Kelly (the goose that laid the Golden Egg), getting him to fly the coop; and when they see they're bound once again to the level of chicken [censored], it has scrambled their brains, for them there's no sunny side and this isn't over easy, and they're calling him an Eggs Benedict Arnold.

I hate to be a party pooper and end the unbroken string of egg puns...

But the image that I can't get out of my head is of Michael Corleone.

I wanted to like Cinci. Posters like H&G made me want to like Cinci. But if it wasn't Mardy's mouth, or the band's, or the administration, or the t-shirt and bumper sticker vendors, or the fans NOT named H&G, then it was the Cinci media.

Whoever or whatever it was that changed my mind on the subject, I now feel the way Michael would have felt if he knew that he had to deal with Fredo; but someone else "took Fredo fishing" for him without him even having to ask. Poignant, but satisfying...

I like where you're going with this. I, however, wouldn't go the Fredo route with UC. After all, they aren't an older brother who was passed over for leadership of the family who then conspired with a hostile outsider to turn against Michael.

They're more like an outsider who was brought in at later date to run a corner of the territory (SW Ohio/Brooklyn) who couldn't handle his liquor, danced around like a fool,ran his mouth when he shouldn't have, and then turned against Michael because he thought he could get his own family (the Big East).

UC is Frankie Pentangeli.

You didn't misread the scene. Michael was heart-broken that Fredo had forced his hand. It would have been an immense relief to him if someone had taken Fredo out without him having to ask; but that wasn't the case.

Hence, this is how Michael would have felt.

Nevermind though. ORD is right. UC is Pentangelini(sp?).

So now the question is: Which in-state program is Luca Brazi(sp?)
