I see that you never responded to my post from right after your post. Probably because I responded civilly rather than acridly. I guess that isn't really what you are looking for. :p

The provision of a Cincinnati Football 2009 thread is not for Cinci fans to come to this board and trash Ohio State. It's not to give Buckeye fans an outlet to trash Cinci just for the sake of trashing them.

It IS because this board tries to talk about football from time to time. This thread exists because Cincinnati, to their credit, is having a good season and people might like to discuss it.

If you're looking for a fight, go try some other site. We'd prefer to talk about the stuff going on on the field. That said, I don't mean to imply all emotional talk needs to be left at the door. It's also an appropriate thread to bring up off the field issues such as arrests or speculation about other football related things.

It's interesting to me that your UC board doesn't have any such thread, designed to discuss the merits - the good and the bad - of Ohio State football.

You're a fan of a of some other team. This is an Ohio State board, filled with Ohio State fans. You will probably take some ribbing. You can either shoot your mouth off, or take it in stride. I dont' care which. Both choices come with consequences.

Gatorubet signed up to this board when Ohio State lost to Florida in the BCS championship game 2007. He took some ribbing, he took some unnecessary shots from angry Ohio State posters... he took it in stride, and he remains a contributor here.

In other words, you don't have to bleed scarlet and gray. You just have to know where you are. But, come in here puffing your chest, demanding respect and "logic" and whatever the hell else, and you might as well fuck off. Buckeyeplanet will survive without you. You are a guest here. Deal with it.

I hope this happens because I go to the Meineke bowl every year... and I would be hittin' up Bank of America Stadium in my Ohio State hoodie, my Pryor jersey, my Buckeye pants and whatever else I have that is Ohio State.
