I love Marcus Freeman, but he straight up blew that shit at the end of the game. I never understand the prevent the win defense bs. GATA like you always do. Don't sit back and let them throw 15 yard outs because you don't want someone behind you. Blitz the QBs ass like you did every other series. Marcus went full chicken shit on defense the last series until it was too late. Drop 8 wasn't doing anything but losing the game for them,.

nah they blitzed in the last few plays of that series. they lost this game not running the ball on 3rd and 2 and draining another 30 seconds of clock. Georgia wouldve gotten ball back with 45 seconds worst case, best case game over. That’s the call that lost the game

The blitz worked the last couple of plays, it was the 5 before that where Marcus dropped 8 and gave them the field goal range. Dumb as hell. The blitz worked the last two plays and it would have worked the first two plays instead of the prevent bs.

I’m anything but an expert, but I don’t understand UC’s play calling in the fourth quarter. The constant pass attempts gave Georgia lots of time to close the gap. In particular, third and two with 1:30 left seems like a bad time to go deep when all you need is a first down to end the game. Our defense gave us a chance to win, and our offense dropped the ball.
