A little more defense in this one compared to the other game showing right now on the "family of networks" UC capitalized on an Or. St. INT with a FG. They are pinned deep in their own end to start the 2nd quarter.

This is in interesting game for UC. The get a team from another major conference on their home field on national TV - it's a good chance for them to build on the momentum created in the program by Mark Dantonio.

This was a good win for the Big East. While the Big East would rather see a top tier team from the Big East and and PAC-10 go at it with the Big East team coming on top, UC and Oregon State both reside at the bottom of their respective conferences, and UC and the Big East came out on top by a lot tonight.

I find this comical, someone at work told me to "watch out for the real OSU, Beavers baby, Beavers" a few weeks ago, can't wait til work tomorrow
Ask him if bra's on the uniform are required to be the real OSU... or if that's just a perk.

I wouldn't put UC at the bottom of their conference. They've been to a bowl 4 of the last 5 seasons I believe, and I think they're right there at the top of the second tier of the Big East, with a chance to beat a Louisville, WV or Rutgers on a given night.

Beavers fans having been running their yappers all off-season. This oughta' shut 'em up.

Pretty much, I think because they beat USC last year that somehow they assumed that meant they were good, not that it was a huge upset. Aah well, now I just have to wait for UCLA to make thier yearly collapse and 50% of the crap I get at work will cease... Unfortunately, the rest is all from USC fans and I don't think that's going away anytime soon.

Oregon State is more of a middle of the road PAC-10 team than a bottom dweller. Their average finish the last ten years is fifth.

2006-3
2005-7
2004-3
2003-5
2002-4
2001-7
2000-1
1999-5
1998-8
1997-10

It's definitely a good win for UC (and for me since I picked them as my upset pick.)

You mean like they did last year? (30-11)
