I'm against them. They force feed these poor trees miracle-gro and water, don't let them move, and them slaughter them in mass quantities for the enjoyment of a over commercialized bastard of a holiday.

What about when they bind them and strap them to trucks and ship them across the country only to be sold at some grocery store or road side stand by a man who hasn't shaved for 4 days and has whiskey on his breath. Not to mention the half open red shirt and dirty third day worn t-shirt underneath.
They pack these poor things together like veal, eh, er, cordwood. They have to stand upright 24 hours a day in their own droppings!

Sincerely,

People for the Ethical Treatment of Fir Trees

Thanks for the replies. We ended up going to Oakland Nursery though because today was the only day my girl has off for the next couple of weeks. $24 bucks for a 7' scotch pine. Now if could just get my damn tree topper straight

It's okay if it isn't perfect... really. :)

I go to Timbuck Tree Farm every year. It's north of Granville on North St. It is a great time for the whole family. What I like best is that I can find a tree that meets our needs. We get to see them in "nature", not on some tree lot. One year we got the bonus of 2 chipmunks living in the tree.

No Alvin and the chipmunks jokes please!
