I' still take the Celts in 7, 5, or 1 for that matter, if Doc would play his top 7 or 8 a little more. Anyone else think that game was more about development than winning? Travel and schedule could have had something to do with it too.

Both of which didn't favor the Lakers. Lakers just got home from a four-game southeast road trip so they had to travel across the country just like the Celtics for this game. Plus the game yesterday was the Lakers fifth in seven days so in terms of schedule no advantage there either.

On the other hand, the Lakers were starting a five game home stretch and don't play again till Sun. The Celtics play today, Sunday, and Tues, all on the left coast. I'd say advantage Lakers, by a lot....

So games in the future had an affect on the game yesterday? What were the Celtics concerned about tonight's game with the mighty Warriors yesterday?
The game was more important to the Lakers yesterday because they felt they had more to prove and that's why they won. I think most would agree the Celtics are still the better team.
