Exactly. He automatically will have better talent at OSU and OSU's defense instantly just got better. From a fundamentals and scheme standpoint alike.

And also presumably from a game plan and play calling standpoint as well.

I will be anxious to see if the NCAA let's this hire go through. I believe there is a bylaw that prohibits an SEC DC taking a CO-DC job in the B1G.

I've seen a few places where people are calling him a strong recruiter (OSU sites), but then others saying he's a poor recruiter (Wisconsin sites). Hopefully it's just the fact that at places like Wisconsin and Arkansas you can't really recruit nearly as well as at OSU?

From what I can tell, I really like this hire. Sounds like Ash is a great technician of the game and will be a great teacher for our young DBs. The talent is there, coach 'em up Ash.
