Old habits die hard.It would all depend on the contract details I guess.
Maybe UT just treated it like the good old days, handed him a bag of cash with no paper trail and he just said "Thanks!"?

Everybody is somebody else's weirdo.
The drama between the Tennessee Volunteers and EDGE rusher Chaz Coleman continues but Austin Price of VolQuest seemed to indicate that a divorce between both sides might not be the financial loss for the Vols like some worried it could be. If Josh Heupel and Tennessee were able to amend their contract with Coleman this could be a huge win for their NIL program.

Too soon old, too late smart
Hopefully some talking head will corral Chaz and get his side of the story. UT is limited (I believe) as this is a personnel issue. Maybe sports not as strict as the working world, but....Something sounds terribly wrong about this, at several levels. And a reminder that NIL is not tied to the university, but is a complete and separate contract between the recruit and an 'entity' that has a dotted line relationship with the school. Hate to see this kid get blackballed by the sport, but is looking that way.

There have been rumblings about concussions and the mental health issues that can come from that. I do recall hearing that Ohio State had a "health concern" back when he committed to the Vols.
