Nobody made reference to how he announced. Read the first line for a good chuckle.

"Those who stay will be champions."

Another scUM myth. That phrase, that they hold so dear, has not applied to a single scUM player since the 2004 B1G champion team. The last of those players filtered off of scUM rosters after the 2008 season. So, it's been a full decade since that actually applied to a single player.

I can think of no corollary statement ever made my any Ohio State coach that still has any meaning or traction today. "Those who stay..." is a bit different than things like "You win with people" I think, but maybe I'm splitting hairs.

In any case, it stands to reason, really. After worshiping fielding Yost for 60 years, they've modernized to worshiping Bo for the last 45+ You've got "those who stay" you've got "Michigan Man" and.. of course, you've got the guy with Asperger's syndrome dressing like him running up and down the sidelines, winning precisely jack fucking squat. Just like Bo....

Well, that's not quite fair, I suppose. Bo did win some B1G titles even if he didn't live up to the bar set by Yost. Does, however, show a nice progression from expecting greatness, to being OK with occasional greatness, to being fine with the prospects of maybe being great again some day, maybe..... next year... or the year after...

If I got bitch slapped 3 times in a fight by the same dude... I don't come back for 4ths.

Definition of insanity is what UFM?

just to be clear, he's absorbed FOUR beatings from the same dude and is coming back for a 5th shot at it

because you know, should you finally get over the hump the 5th time the previous 4 are completely irrelevant
