Looks like the Domers will be paying for that near win against USC for quite a while.

I blame Ty Willingham.

Not bad earnings for a 12-month period.

That 10 year contract was a bad idea from the start. The administration buckled under pressure after those NFL rumors started circulating and bought into the early successes and excitement from winning again after some miserable seasons under Ty. It used to be Notre Dame didn't offer any long term contracts like that, especially after such a short period of time. I remember my grandfather talking about meeting Lou in '91 at the Hawaii game and he disclosed that he was just offerred a long term contract by the university, and this was 3 years after winning the National Championship. Up to that point everything was short term.

Gator, what is the rapid reaction from the Florida fanbase on Charlie's creative offensive philosophy so far?
Too busy mourning the loss of Brantley and Demps, and wondering why we do not have an offensive line worth a hoot.

The carping is not focused on him yet due to the difficulty in putting spread offense pegs into pro offense holes.

If we lose to the Butt Sniffers and Half Ass U the noise will be louder, and then who knows.

Seriously, Kansas? You give Gill two years and replace him with this? :shake:

As an aside, I hope Turner Gill lands on his feet. I was very impressed with what he did at Buffalo.
