Chargers at Steelers(-4.5)

Troy Polamalu....

A) What a fucking catch, assuming it stands up
B) I absolutely love the fact that after a cheap shot, he simply gets up and hands the ball to the official.

He was tackled by his hair by Larry Johnson once after a pick... Did he get all chesty? Nope. And why should he? He's still got the damn ball.

Class. He's got it.

He's a throwback. I loved his comments about the pussification of the NFL also.

But about the hair...you don't want tackled by it, cut the shit. That's why Troy didn't flip..he knows the deal. I really like Polamalu...even when he ran Carson Palmer over (along with half the Bengals offense) on a pick six a few years ago. Tough as nails.

Any Chargers fans want to give me a heads up on Darren Sproles?

I've had him in my fantasy lineup the last 2 weeks as a 3rd back and he's done nothing. He doesn't even appear to be getting any touches at all. What's up? I thought he was doing OK this year, making some big plays out of the backfield and looking dangerous, but now, nothing.

Damn near covered the spread on the last play of the game - but they took the points off the board since an attempted lateral with no time on the clock was a forward pass that ended the play before he ran it into the end zone.

So, when they said Pittsburgh declined, they really didn't have the option.

Lot's of unhappy real betters out there today, I bet. Seems pretty clear to me the Steelers won by 7 in regulation, but the scoreboard says they only won by 1

Yeah - this game, and the end of the Stanford-USC game last night, are reasons not to bet real money.

I was in Vegas in September. The Chargers are running out the clock (just under a minute left) against the Raiders, up by 3. LT pops one for 40 yards a TD, and SD wins by 10.

I had SD -8.5, so I was pretty happy. Other guys, not so much.

Has a team ever won a football game scoring just fields goals and/or safeties where the other team scored a touchdown? :slappy:

This was the first 11-10 final score in the history of the NFL (over 12,000 games).

his pick was probably the coolest play i've ever seen. he is by far my favorite NFL player, just balls out every play and never do you hear anything about him off the field.
