chances of winning a national championship?

Reflecting back

I would say 8. And my reason is looking back on 2002 spring game. Not much offense was shown then and alot of us left wondering if we would be lucky to go 11 - 3. I think the only one who kept chirping that we would go 14 and 0 and that was "Mililiani". Kuddos to him for that one. But after seeing this years spring game, I think its going to be harder this year because we have not had the chance to see Eric Haw and the rest of the young freshman come into perform. Unless our young QB's come into developing thier decision skills like Krenzel did. Another thing why does tibor75 keep referring to Krenzel as "Pretzel. Is he just trying to be funny. He sure is hard to figure out at times. At least I look forward to many surprises this year just like all the good runs that Clarett gave us. It would be nice to see another running back come in and fill his shoes but I just don't know about that. Boy the many memories he gave us huh ?

kips: Thanks for the kudos, but it wasn't me that was saying we'd go 14-0 at the beginning of the season (I think I started saying we would after the Wisconsin game). Whoever had the signature "Drive to the Desert...34 Years of Frustration End January 3, 2003" was the one predicitng the 14-0 season well before the season even started. Damn, I wish I can remember who it was.

You and I are very familiar with Tressel-ball, and that's why it's so exciting being a Buckeye fan, because even though the spring game wasn't the best executed game ever, we know how the team can improve and gel over the summer. I still think we drop a game on the road, yet win all the home games and seriously contend for the title game.
