Which is likely why you should have saved your rant considering the past two seasons...

Huh? You mean the Buckeyes performance? If so I'll give you 2006 hands down, and like most of us, I was none too pleased after that game. I don't think the '07 squad quit playing. They got hammered by mistakes in the 2nd quarter and didn't have the relative talent to get back into the game. But they did keep trying.

To me, Wisky folded after the roughing penalty and they also folded after their loss to us. It aggravates me that they played us so tough and they played so poorly against other teams.

I still want to beat them by 60 next year. If they are going to act like Northwestern in the bowl games, the least we could to is beat them as if they were. :)

I agree completely...but we are also Buckeye fans. The rest of the nation just saw the final score and Boeckman getting destroyed while a medley of speed references played in the background. Those people just know that tOSU has been beaten soundly in two straight big games...throw in the USC debacle and imho our best choice right now is definitely not ragging on any other team's bowl performance.

If people mostly remember the big time games, then why are you so upset about the big ten's earliest bowl game?

Don't get me wrong, I still would like the big 10 to have some bragging writes and I thought this was a very winnable game. Not really that upset either, but it was aggravating to listen to (I was traveling back home from Ohio, had the game on XM). Either way I'm sure I'll get over it if the Buckeyes win :wink2:.

Wisconsin is Who We Thought They Were

Remember, these Badgers did manage to pull off the upset loss to a damned hapless TSUN squad. Even pulling off the miracle fold in the second half against a team which this year basically folded it's tent up in Q-3 and Q-4 against any opposition with a pulse.

Wisconsin is who we thought they were - this result is only (marginally) surprising in the magnitude of the spread, certainly not in the W-L statistic.

I thought when you transferred to another Div IA school, you had to sit out a year.

How was Nick Sheridan able to transfer to Wisconsin, be awarded the same number as their starting QB, and play in their Bowl game right away?

I mean, that had to be Sheridan, right?

I remember all too well. I was in Vegas that weekend, watching that game in The Shadow Bar at Caesar's sucking down Manhattans while the Badgers were sucking money out of my wallet against the bums from scUM. :pissed:

Wiscy has over 200 yards rushing and only 6 points. Two fumbles have killed them, along with the inability to get off the field on defense on 3rd down. FSU is 8/14 on third, and one of the few times UW stopped them the phantom roughing the punter call negated it.

Sooner or later, Wiscy will figure out that Bielema isn't Alvarez.

A lot of the fanbase is...

This program may never return to what it was under Barry.

I have to agree with you. The biggest problem is the Big Ten is missing a strong Michigan team. Even if Michigan would have had a down year but finished in the top 3, all the match ups involving Big Ten teams would have looked more competitive. Currently, the bookmakers have Iowa as the only Big Ten team favored in their bowl game......in all honesty rightly so. :(
Not so sure of that, aside from last years inspired performance against a UF squad with a swiss-cheese defense in Lllllloyd's farewell, scUM has been one of the biggest culprits come bowl season for a long time.
