was just on the news here in lansing. Saint - Dic is a big hole to fill. This game just got more lopsided.

This hurts the team. But maybe its a step in the right direction for the program up here. I would like to see them win games and beat scUM this year!!

I agree Jax, BC struggled against athletic defenses this year and I thought MSU could bring pressure from the edges. This definately hurts Sparty's chances, but maybe the team will rally around each other and win it anyway.

On a side note, I'm sure Dantonio will use this to build team unity and values ala his former boss.

I agree that this does not bode well for Sparty or the B10. Sparty has a history of having a pretty good D-line so maybe there is some quality on the second team that can step forward, but at best it hurts quality a little and depth a lot (more than likely it hurts both bunches) Dantonio is a pretty good defensive mind so maybe he has schemed something up for Ryan and the BC boys.

Sparty has a pretty balanced offensive attack so they still might have a decent chance in a shootout. FSU and Vatech's offenses are just above abysmal and below mediocre and they scored some points against BC so Sparty at least has a punchers chance.

Jax, good call. MSU over BC was my upset special, as it seems like no one is giving MSU a chance in this game, and I actually think they're a decent team whereas I don't think BC is really that good. However, with the loss of St. Dic, I'm not as sure either. I'll still say MSU by 7.
