Researching the Magic!
First of all, Clemson's band appears to only know two or three songs based on last night. Second, what in the ever loving fuck is up with the delayed "N" in the "C-L-E-M-S-O-N" chant at the end of their fight song? Drove my friends and I nuts.
Anyway, on to their team and the upcoming game. I saw some things last night that I think tOSU can use and abuse, both on offense and defense. The run game should be good to go, and I think Weber can go for some serious yards. Their corners and safeties seem vulnerable to good route running. There were a couple times where a VT WR got into a big gap down the sidelines between two defenders, and when their QB got good protection was able to deliver the ball. It also always seemed to be the same play. Not being an Xs and Os guy, I can't quite explain or remember the routes being run, but they were all similar with similar results. Their O-line looked like they were giving up a lot more pressure than I was expecting. I think Hubbard and Bosa will have a good day. They may not get many sacks because of Watson's escapability, but they should be able to pressure him and disrupt their passing game enough. Also, VT pulled off a little pop pass, which my Bama friend and I both lost it on.
