Damn guys there’s no fucking cacti in Dallas. It’s flat, nothing but concrete and just feels like a giant metroplex of strip malls and 90s brut. There’s a reason why folks from Austin refer to the burbs to the north of town as “South Dallas”. Every chain restaurant you can imagine in your choice of strip malls.

I saw that poster and thought “This game isn’t in Phoenix”.

People on Surlyhorns are saying that this game will be "de facto" national championship game. You could say that about any of the playoff games that the national champion won. If Ohio State wins the championship, Tennessee could say that was the "de factor" national championship.
It's kind of a weak claim. The only way to be wrong is if neither Ohio State or Texas wins the championship, and no one will care who said what in that case.
