CFP Game: #9 Tennessee at #8 tOSU, Sat 12/21 8 ET on ABC/ESPN

It will depend which team shows up for Ohio State. A group of seniors who want to end their careers in Ohio Stadium with a great win and who deserve the support of Buckeye fans...or a team that feels its fan base no longer supports them. Ohio State fans need the former and their open support for these kids can help determine if that team comes onto the field.

Fans need to move on, even if for now, and give these kids our total support.

A Leaked Presale Code Allowed “Rabid” Vols Fans to Purchase Tickets for Ohio State-Tennessee, Leaving Only Resale Tickets Available at Higher Prices

Thousands of Ohio State fans excited for their chance to attend the first College Football Playoff game at Ohio Stadium experienced frustration on Thursday.
After season ticket holders claimed seats earlier in the week, tickets on sale to the general public Thursday sold out in minutes, leaving those thousands of fans to purchase seats on the resale market at much higher prices.
An Ohio State football spokesperson said Sunday that tickets for Ohio State-Tennessee would start at $100. Hours after the general public sale, however, resale tickets started at $245 in C deck and ran well over $1,000 in AA deck and Club Level. The most expensive ticket available on Ticketmaster is $3,600.
There are several reasons for the price hike, including, but not limited to: Ohio State-Tennessee being a historic event as the first CFP game at the Horseshoe, Tennessee fans traditionally traveling to road games in droves and – while unconfirmed by the Ohio State athletic department – the presale code to purchase tickets for the contest leaking online.
The battle between the Buckeyes and Volunteers will be the first CFP game at the Horseshoe and the first December game in the stadium's 102-year history. Ohio State head coach Ryan Day said Sunday that his team and Buckeye Nation should be excited to take part in that.
"We're excited about playing the first-ever playoff game in Ohio Stadium," he said. "Ohio Stadium's been around a long time, over 100 years. There's been a lot of great games, but never a playoff game like this. A night game, 8 o'clock, it's gonna be electric. Our guys are going to be excited about this."

Slapshot and Bjork deliver once again. Carter is in over his head from the crypto bro commencement speaker to his incompetent responses to the Gaza protests and dorm mold situation to 9500 student freshman classes and now this. And you damn well know that Fredo, the juggalos and all the rest are gong to be telling every potential applicant in Ohio that if they go to Ohio State they'll end up in an overcrowded dorm inhaling mold.

If half of Ohio Stadium is orange, he can fire up his jet and fly the fuck off.

And if this was truly "leaked" by someone in the AD, then that person had better be identified, fired and prosecuted!

It’s Day’s fault!

All listed along with the salary exemption debacle highlights 16 months of continuous ineptitude.

I fully support the kids. But it's the coaches that have let them down, not the fans.

The above posts should be on Joel Klatt or Josh Pate. Makes me want to put vcash on the Buckeyes. Hope our guys don't read these, they won't get psyched up for the game. When Saban and Joey Sweetwater start touting the Tennessee guys, (SEC, because it just means more), I'll relax, or maybe wait until the clock ticks down in 4th quarter, to start getting ready for revenge game with Oregon. Until then, come join me on the ledge. Go Bucks!
Maybe 6 feet, ain't so far down

Yeah. I can’t get behind this one.

The fans have nothing to do with what team comes out of that tunnel. What’s more, this particular group of seniors has had their chance to show they have that “we’re not losing this game” kind of backbone.

That kind of grit isn’t in the WHAC anymore. Guy in charge lacks it therefore his organization lacks it.

It's a great sentiment, but that fanbase doesn't exist anymore. Sad but true. How firm thy friendship indeed - unless it's football, eh?

Agreed. I’m over the constant pessimism from this fanbase and the jabs at this team. People think they are doing it for the long term viability of this program, but in all reality, they are just venting about things they have zero control over. I get being frustrated, but what I can’t get behind is taking any small piece of information that is written about OSU football and spinning it in a negative light. Why even bother to watch next week?

Once the season is over we can have a proper discussion about the path forward (which we have zero influence over as well). Until then, if you are going on Saturday you had better bring everything that you have. This team needs your support and they need to feel like the fanbase has their back. It’s ridiculous that I even have to type this.

I come on here to give legit optimism and criticism where due, and when I'm overly pissed I don't come in here. I've stayed for Carmen Ohio after a loss in the Shoe. I donate to the program. I spent the best years of my life in Columbus jumping into Mirror Lake, sitting in avid anticipation of every game in lecture halls on Friday for the game (class was usually dismissed early that day before a big game), stopping in at Buckeye Donuts nearly every morning, studying at the Thompson, grabbing a pizza at Adriatico's, etc. I spend so much time on here because I truly love our program and just want to see it be at it's full potential.

Not aimed at you at all and I know this wasn't aimed at me either. My point is most real Buckeye fans care so much that it takes a little bit to get over what happened in the last game, a grieving stage if you will.

Then you get over it and focus on the fucking ultimate mission ahead of you. We'll have to revisit on the coaches with the ttun losses, but it's over. If a fan can't be excited to play Tennessee in the Shoe in December in a historic playoff game...they should take up chess or basket weaving. But I do think it's the vocal minority that don't appreciate it.
