Bateman is a pretty crushing loss for Minnesota. They already had to replace Tyler Johnson, passing game severely lacking anywhere near a proven weapon now (if the season is played of course)

Players are opting out but so far besides a few expectations its mostly a "who" situation.

If a Lawrence or Fields caliber player decides to hang it up now that would really start a mass exodus, imo.

Just sayin': I'll say as the season goes on and their team gets out of contention for anything you'll see more players "opt out"; especially some 3rd year or later marquee players that intend to be in the 2021 NFL draft to avoid an injury, etc.
