I am. Dempsey still holds (now shared) the NFL record for longest field goal (63 yards) and he only had 1/2 a foot.

Hell, I even remember another guy who was a very large man for a kicker:

for lineman/kickers, a.k.a the straight leg kickers, size was expected, but for a soccer style kicker, rivas is huge. i couldnt imagine he ever played soccer.

It was admirable that he learned to kick like that. But for anyone who has played soccer, toe hawking the ball (kicking with your toe instead of the laces) produces a hard kick with very little leg. I would imagine a hammer like toe would be pretty useful.
