I never got the impression that Larry Bird or Charles Barkley would kill somebody in a dark alley. I wouldn't be shocked that Paul Pierce made KG slit some hooker's throat behind a strip club to prove that he was a true Celtic.

It's not the shit talking that bothers me. It's him trying to act like a gangster. If him and Paul Pierce weren't basketball players, they would be gang leaders.

:lol: Damn man. I know it's true, but Sir Charles is my favorite player ever. Especially after I read his autobiography, Outrageous!. The best part of the entire book was when he was talking about his relationship with Lambier. He says before a playoff game one year, he had a waterboy or some shit take a note to Bill in the Pistons locker room. The note said.."Dear Bill, Fuck You. Sincerely, Chuck." :slappy:

I don't see him as a thug. I don't think he's hurting anyone. Admittedly, I'm a fan, so I'm biased. That being said, you'd have a hard time convincing me he's on the same level as Artest or other dude that sucker punched the fan, and that's a "thug", imo.

I don't feel like finding what the actuall symbol he flashed means, but he grew up in LA, and it's widely known it was a gang gesture. The NBA slammed him with a $25,000 fine for a "menacing gesture". They certainly didn't think he was calling him an asshole....

BTW, who remebers the Dave Chappelle skit where he's calling out NBA players and when Paul Pierce is named, theres a dude getting stabbed in the neck??
