“They value me high,” Turner told Eleven Warriors in March. “Coach Barnes, the first meeting I had with him, he was saying he doesn’t look at rankings. That was when I was a low three-star. He said he doesn’t usually look at rankings, but it got sent to him and he was like, ‘no way this kid is a three-star.’ They value me a lot. They don’t really care about the rankings. They offered me when I was a low three-star. They know talent when they see it.”

The aforementioned Pride recruitment should be hotly contested, and defensive end Kenyatta Jackson Jr. is a top-80 player whom both programs are going after. Turner specifically mentioned both names and will be hot on the trail of recruiting both – especially Jackson, a teammate of his at Chaminade-Madonna Prep.

“I’m gonna get on Kenyatta as soon as tomorrow. … If you’re trying to be great, come to Ohio State. Kenyatta knows,” Turner said. “He knows Ohio State is the place to be.”

Just sayin': Yeah, help Ohio State reel in Kenyatta Jackson Jr. too.

This can be moved if needed, but I hope people in charge are watching that noxiousoddity guy. He’s really creepy interacting with recruits. He claims to have graduated from OSU in 2014 and he’s calling high school kids “big bro” and telling them to link up with him. Kind of reminds me of that guy that took a picture with Alex Anzalone on his visit.
