CB Richard McNutt (YSU Defensive Backs Coach)

Had the pleasure of spending time with Richard this past summer. Watching him work with the kids and seeing his work ethic and heart to go with his knowledge of the game. I PROMISE YOU. Richard will work his way up the coaching ladder and will be coaching big time D-1 or in the pro's, SOONER rather than later. Richard is a special guy. MARK IT DOWN.

Absolutely no doubt. I remember seeing him on the sidelines helping the coaches while he was recovering from his ankle injuries. He was very active then...don't think that Tressel and the others didn't take notice. His injuries may have taken away his chance at starting and possibly getting into the NFL, but it also gave him a crucial head start in coaching experience and exposure.
