CB Eli Apple (All B1G, National Champion, Los Angeles Chargers)

Being a cornerback makes him the Apple Picker.

@KyleRowland Eli Apple looks very good in one-on-one coverage. Solid in not allowing the WR to get any separation. Shutting down Tyler Boyd.

Looks like he's had a very strong week at practice.

Was invisible in the All Star game. For a DB, that's perfect. They went after the nations #1 rated CB the UA game but stayed away from Eli in the Army game. I hope the guys on the roster are ready to compete because he is a lockdown guy in the making.

Hargreaves was up for the challenge but it was quietly pleasing to know they didnt want any of Eli. I hope the guys on the roster are ready to compete because he is a lockdown guy in the making.

He probably seemed invisible at the Under Armour game because... well, he wasn't in that game (the one with Hargreaves). He played in the Army game, haha.

Exactly...the best type of DB is one you don't hear from, almost the same as an OL. Means nobody was going his way, much like how Shawn Springs was for much of his career here. Can't wait to see what Eli does here, he has been a Buckeye since the 8th grade basically.
