I particularly liked the quote from the previously linked Scout article:

"I knew for sure once I came back from my Ohio State visit, even though the Buckeyes were in my heart for a long time," he explained. "Coach (Jim) Tressel and I have a great relationship, and we nodded at each other when I left Columbus after my official, and at that moment, we both knew."

I think this underscores the inexact science of following recruiting. As Wade, and others, have appropriately noted before, fans should not hang on every word from a recruit or so-called reliable sources. There will always be inside information that most of us will never be privy to until the fat lady sings.
