CB Doran Grant (Official Thread)

St. Vincent-St. Mary junior Doran Grant also brought home gold. Grant won the 110-meter hurdles in 14.31 seconds.

''I had to get off to a strong start and finish strong. Yesterday, I finished second in the qualifying heat because I did not start well,'' said Grant, who is being recruited for football as a defensive back and plans on making visits to USC and UCLA among other stops this summer.

Quandre Diggs, Nick Waisome highlight the 2011 cornerback class - ESPN

Top prospects

Doran Grant (Akron, Ohio/Saints Vincent and Mary)
Ht.: 5-11 | Wt.: 177 pounds | Stars: 4 | CB rank: 3 | ESPNU 150 rank: 67
College: Undecided
Like Waisome, Grant is not your typical burner, but you would be hard pressed to find a more active defensive back around the ball in the 2011 class. Quickness may be his best attribute; Grant is hard to shake as he sticks tightly to receivers out of their breaks and recovers extremely well. Overall, he's a talented athlete with good ball and leaping skills (41-inch vertical) that have earned him close to 30 offers.

He is honest in telling recruits that while the sanctions will almost certainly be overturned on appeal, it is not a given.
So in other words, he's not being honest at all.

What an ass.
