Displays solid hands and great speed.......the offense that Canton South runs really gets Torrence in great spots on the field and highlights his ability. One wrong step by the defense against the misdirection and Devon has the ball.....well you can forget about it.

I think the goalline hit might be on highlight reel 5 of his Rivals profile. I don't have a subscription to Scout, so I don't know for sure... but he has a pretty nasty hit there.

It's amazing that they make you pay to watch high school kids play football, what a sham. Id rather spend that money at the pub drinking a Guiness and just watch them when they come to THE GREATEST UNIVERSITY IN THE WORLD.

to elaborate on the great article by Bill Greene, Devon has offers from Kentucky, Illinois, Boston College, Penn State, Akron, Indiana, West Virginia, Minnesota, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Michigan State, Cincinnati and Arizona State. Michigan has told him an offer is coming this week. OSU has asked him to come to camp to evaluate him.

No word on whether that OSU offer is forthcoming yet...we all know the likelihood is high, but they still want him to come to camp or a day and be evaluated.

Yeah I agree Wad, I think the offer will come after he comes to camp. I also think they want to see him improve his scores, which he has been working hard to do and is already through the clearinghouse, just has to work on getting scores to pass our admissions.
