JSN, Ward selected for Pro Bowl Games
Smith-Njigba was officially recognized as one of the NFL’s best players for the 2025 season on Tuesday as he was selected as a Pro Bowler.JSN is one of two Buckeyes on the initial rosters for the Pro Bowl Games along with Cleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward, who was selected as a Pro Bowler for the third straight year and the fifth time overall. Smith-Njigba was named a starting wide receiver for the NFC while Ward was chosen as a backup cornerback for the AFC.
As a member of the team that currently holds the No. 1 seed in the NFC, Smith-Njigba will hope he’s unable to play in the Pro Bowl Games, which will be held during Super Bowl week this year on Tuesday, Feb. 3. The event will be televised by ESPN, starting at 6:30 p.m., with the flag football game – which is now the main event of the Pro Bowl Games rather than a traditional football game – set to begin at 8 p.m.
