Lol, spoken like a true fanboy. The majority of fans are delusional morons who expect players to live and die for their teams like they do. And when a kid makes a business decision, fans feign outrage until the next story. Example of this is JT Barrett, fans wanted his head on a stake after the Oklahoma game, and then after Ped St wanted to put him on a pedestal. Fans buy jerseys, yell at TVs and act irrationally. A TV commentator and coaches will provide a better a judgement than any fan! So if you're using fans to rationalize your opinion, than your point isn't very valid
And it may be a minor story because Ward was the only Buckeye to sit our, but it's certainly going to be somewhat of a trend moving forward. But, yes the off season lends itself to discussing these matters to a much deeper extent
