I get what you're saying (with tongue in cheek, I suspect). The offer sheets aren't as impressive as Hancock and Grimes, and it brings the question are Davies and/or Burke offered at least somewhat to "get in the door" at these powerhouses? That thought did cross my mind but only in connection with one of my favorite recruits this cycle, Davis Jr maybe then being shut out. I was relieved to see today that both Birm and Givler along with a Psu insider now see the Buckeyes leading for him . So yeah, lets get all three!

No you’re right. He had an LSU offer and when LSU offers a secondary player — the only school that rivals OSU in DB quality over the past several years — it’s something to offer attention.

I admittedly get too caught up on ratings, but he looks like a net positive prospect for sure.

Plus the USC, Texas, Auburn, Oregon, and UW offers aren't anything to sneeze at either. scUM would kill to land a defensive prospect with that kind of offer list
