Based on reps, it seems that Bradley Roby is in the lead to be the other cornerback opposite Travis Howard.

To me; Shawn Springs and Antoine Winfield were lockdown corners. Very few since have deserved that title.

When I think of a Buckeye cornerback I don't necessarily think lockdown. I think solid coverage downfield, limited big plays and the ability to put a tailback on his ass in the open field with near 100% certainty.
Chris Gamble certainly qualified. He, Winfield, Doug Plank, Mike Sensibaugh and Jack Tatum were the best DBs I have ever seen in Buckeye uniform.
