Aaron Scott
committed to Ohio State over Michigan last month, creating some buzz in one of the most heated rivalries in college football. The future Buckeyes corner features good length and natural playmaking ability in the secondary, evidenced by five interceptions as a junior. He likely isn’t done rising in the rankings.
Coach Douglass from Springfield has created one of the best teams in the state. 2 straight state finals runner ups is a heck of a feat. And Scott will go down as one of the best.I was at the Springfield game. Scott had one pass completed against him all night. Only a few passes thrown his direction. He had one int on a tipped ball and would have had a second if an up defender hadn’t tipped it.
He tried to bait the receivers as much as he could to get some action. Honestly he looked bored most of the night. Iggy is not what they used to be, or Springfield is very good.
Btw, BB Landers is an assistant on Springfield’s staff
He really has done an amazing job there. Springfield can produce some talent, but I never thought they would be able to hang with the D1 parochial schools in Ohio. Could very well see a St. Ed's v Springfield rematch in the finals and if so, I will get my popcorn.Coach Douglass from Springfield has created one of the best teams in the state. 2 straight state finals runner ups is a heck of a feat.
