Miami's last points were on Wade's lay-up after the full court pass. That was with over a minute to go.

In the last minute, Miami didn't score and Wade missed multiple shots. If this had happened to LeBron, we'd here nothing but, "LeBron choked!" I'm glad that crap has been put to bed.

Wow that was a crazy game.

A couple of things stuck out:

1. Gooden played probably his worst game of the year. He looked like he wanted to cry in the second quarter, and he barely played in the second half.

2. Z should have dominated Doleac, but for some reason he didnt. He only put up 9 shots, and he almost never got the ball in the post.

3. Lebron is Lebron. He was 16-25 for 47 points. Dwayne Wade had 44 points on 36 shots.

This was a big win, but its a game that we should win. The Cavs are now 4.5 games ahead with the Wizards having to play in San Antonio tonight. I think we are pretty much a lock for the 4th seed.

That is what would happen more often if Brown would play him more. He has talent.

I didn't know Pav could do that. The bad thing for him is that he will be lucky to see the floor once Hughes comes back. Maybe now that the Cavs have all but locked up the 4th spot in the playoffs Brown will give some of the bench guys more time. It would be good if he would give Lebron, Hughes, and Murray 25-35 minutes a game and get Snow, Jones, and Pav 15-25 a game. If Pav could get hot he would be a good weapon to have if they need to hit some 3's. I really want to see a lineup with Lebron, Hughes, and Murray out there together.

Excellent point. Of course, that will get lost in the media hype surrounding Wade. Don't get me wrong--Wade is a great player, and much, much better in the NBA than I ever thought he would be when he was at Marquette. That being said, he's overhyped IMO. A lot of what he's done he has only been able to do b/c of Shaq. If you put LeBron on the Heat and Wade on the Cavs, LeBron would've won an NBA championship by now and Wade would be lucky to lead his team to 20 wins.

This moron on ESPN says Lebrons not a good playmaker and Wades a better scorer...

Paul Silas is trying to talk some sense into him.

LOL, I about jumped out of my seat when he said that. He averages 6.5 assists per game, and if we wouldnt have had some of those horrid shooting slumps he would be up over 7 a game. I did agree that Wade plays better defense, and that he is a better clutch player, but I tell you what LBJ is finally coming around in that area.

As for Pavs, I think it was either last year or early this year, where he took it to the rack and really put it down hard over someone and I had to make sure that was actually him. B4 then I always thought he was just a shooter, he would be a great back up to LBJ in the next couple years as he continues to develop and Flip isnt going to be here next year, so we are goign to need Sasha next year.

We are now 6 games up on the Wizards and 6.5 on the Bucks. I think that the Bucks are going to end up in the 5 hole b/c the Wizards have some tough games left. I actually like the matchup better than the Wizards or the Pacers. It is goign to be fun to watch either way.

I'm starting to wonder what they'll get for Gooden in a sign and trade. It's clearly apparent that his inconsistency is going to make Ferry's decision easier. He's been disappearing more and more as the season goes on.

I think Varejeo is more than able to fill that spot. He'll work n his offensive game as he gets experience, but his defensive game and rebounding are excellent already. His agressive defense gets him alot of calls, but it also gets him alot of bad/questionable calls.

I watched Marty Andresivicous (whatever) play in an NBDL game this week. He has some shooting range for a big guy, but I can't see him playing center in the NBA, unless he starts working out with Barry's trainer. He's looks much more like a shooting forward, than a center.

I don't know the numbers, but LeBrons 4th quarter play in the last 10 or so games seems unbelieveable. His 4th quarter shooting in that time has to be over 50 %. Anyone else notice that or am I just seeing that through Wine and Gold colored glasses?

If Gooden is gone next year (likely) I think Marshall will take over as the starting PF and Varejao will see more minutes as the backup PF/C. That way they will have a shooter in the starting lineup and they will still have Varejao coming of the bench as instant energy. I think Ferry will make the best move that he can, but I don't think they want to be stuck with a big contract for Gooden. Someone will see what Gooden can do and give him a bigger contract than the Cavs will be willing to.
I really hope they get little Z on a big lifting program this off season to get him to add some weight. He really needs 20-40 lbs on his frame.
This will be a big off season for Pav and Jackson. Both of them are going to need to play a bigger roll next season.
The Cavs still need to draft the best PG they can get and a big physical PF. Maybe Chicago won't be able to get one of their coveted PF's and they would be willing to trade their first round pick for Gooden. They already have NY's first round pick so they don't really need 2, and Gooden would be a good fit for them.

If Chicgao would trade a first rounder that would mean that we would be in the lottery, b/c them and the knicks are not goign to make the playoffs. Will we have enough money to sign 2 first rounders????

I guess a better situation is what will our cap situation look like.

I was one that was hesitant to get rid of Gooden, but now im all for it. His consistency is ridiculous. If he starts off a game poorly then by the second quarter hes worthless already. When hes playing well he might even be a top-10 PF in the league, but id rather have a consistent point guard that can attack the rim and hit outside shots. Snows defense has been great lately, but offensively we need a point guard that can knock down shots, and Snows offense is very limited.

Now we can match any teams offer on Lebron and it doesnt count against our cap space right?
