A complete defensive collapse on top of our bench and usual shooters having totally off nights.

Lebron was on fire, and nobody else was really able to help him out through-out the second half.

It took everything that the Magic had to win this game, I'm not sure if they can keep that up every night.

That said, this may be a blessing in disguise - we need to get back to fundamentals that cost us this game. Namely, proper rotation, and contesting outside shots.

well what a joke this game was

Orlando's tough dude. They're obviously not going to get double digit victories in this series. Not a choke.

Orlando is done in my opinion. Cavs in 5, at a max, 6. No way do we let this go the distance. Their shooters are hot and they got complacent. LeBron will score 100 every night if he has to.

Keep in mind this was a game in which they hadn't played 9 nights previous.

I hope so, but they showed some fire that I didn't know they had tonight. That worries me more than any of the matchup problems that they exploited tonight.

Expect game 2 to be UGLY. Orlando is happy with that win and I'm sure we won't see much out of them next time round. Especially with what 'Brons going to say to the team in these next few days...

I'm still shocked. Didn't think THIS team would see a series deficit.

You guys are ignoring some crucial, crucial things about this game. Dwight Howard got whatever, whenever he wanted. As did Lebron James. But the sum of Orlando's parts was greater than what Lebron could do. Another thing; Rashard Lewis will continue to get buckets against Anderson Varejao if Andy doesn't get some help. It's not as if the Cavs came out and laid an egg. They threw a hard punch in the first half, capped off with an amazing shot by Mo at the buzzer. However, the second half when things got tight, it got back to the Cavs of years past. Sit back and watch Lebron do work.

Orlando is no slouch; they are tested right now. Alot of the parts of the Cavs haven't played much in the playoffs prior to this season.

The Cavs will still win the series. No way they win it in 5. I say 6. Probably 7 if Rashard Lewis plays to his potential. The defense has to pick it up and the role players simply need to execute their role.

This one is on Mike Brown...matchups killed us tonight and he never adjusted..

Why not go small with Sasha (good defender) against one of Hedu or Lewis and put LBJ on the other and then go with Andy on Howard...

If Z is on the court he has to be used on offense to pull Howard out, and why he isn't setting his feet on his jumpers...

Why did we resort to LBJ going one against 5...it is fine down the stretch, but we started it way too early..He was getting guys open looks early in the game, then he stopped...Started off with 4 assists in the first couple minutes and then only ended with 7 or so...He can get anywhere he wants and get anyone looks...Needs to be under control and find the easiest play...

I think we will be fine in the series...Orlando does present mismatches but if Brown can find a way to defend the magic and slow them some, we will be fine...I am thinking this will stretch to 7 tho now, after losing home court tonight...

I'd like to see the Cavs take games 3, and 6. Obviously game 2 is a MUST and so is 5. Agreed with CBF40 though, with the proper people on the floor we can easily take this series. I don't know about Sasha, but Andy absolutely cannot defend on Lewis anymore. He had fairly open looks all game, and hit most of them. Luckily tonight we weren't devastated by 3's, rather showered by them. Unfortunately they came at key moments, like Lewis' game winner (that fuck).

Honestly, this didn't surprise me, what actually surprised me was that the cavs were favored by 8, I was thinking 4 at most. Through the year, the toughest team the Lakers faced was the Magic, and when Nelson went down they just kept on going. I expect the Cavs will win game 2, beyond LBJ the Cavs seemed flat tonight, I doubt that will happen again.
