Orlando is in BIG trouble. This should've been a no contest game without Z and Delonte, IN ORLANDO.

22-2 run.

We need our guys back.

Sorry, I was just reading the game thread, I thought the cavs did well in the first half, the second half, well, the Magic did the same thing to the Cavs they did to the Lakers (I know, the Cavs are 1000000000000000000000 times better than any Lakers team ever) but these two comments made me :slappy:

Gotta love me proving myself wrong. S'alright, I still see us as the 1 seed and tromping everyone else.

Meh, it's a 4 way dice roll as I see it, the Lakers are going to win the west, there's no compeition, in the east the Magic are for real, I think the entire league wants to say "these guys are pretenders" but I watched them sweep my guys and went "wow! Nelson is unreal." The Cavs are still a great team, it's not just Lebron, it's what they have built around him and we can't discount the Celtics.

As a Lakers fan, the only really unbiased thing I can say is this: I can't wait to watch the Eastern conference playoffs.

1. in the lakers and orlando games you could see why the cavs missed Z so much. there's a reason AV is allowed to stand 17 feet from the hoop with nobody within 5 feet of him. Z pulls Howard/Bynum out because they have to guard against his jumper, which frees up guys for offensive rebounds.

2. since Z never actually jumps, he won't fall for Howard's head fakes.

At full health, I think the Jazz have at least a puncher's chance with the Lakers.

As for the Cavs, they should explore all options for another center. I've read the talk on the board about finding another 2, but with West, Pavs, Gibson and Tinsley, the cupboard is far from bare. When the refs are letting the inside stuff go, big teams like the Lakers are more than we can handle.

Agreed on both points but to add to point one this also creates more lanes to drive to the hoop. Don't forget we are missing Delonte who can get to the rim too.

Nobody's getting to the rim when players are getting hip checked consistently clear out to 18 feet. Unfortunately I don't think anybody from Cleveland was going to get to the rim in the second half.

Dwight Howard will get himself in foul trouble, and I thought the Cavs had a shot at making that happen up until the point that Orlando was permitted to mug everybody at mid-range. Nobody even got near Howard from that point on.

All that said, great teams can win by knocking down jumpers in that situation when everything else it taken away, and they did not do that last night.

Z back and had a big game...20 and 11...Mo with 23...
There might not be a more underrated individual in Cleveland sports history than Big Z. Love the guy. Also, Mo got robbed not making the All-Star team. The difference he has made on this team is unreal. Wally's been playing good ball lately too.

I would love to see Mo on the All-Star team, but the only person I could even think about dropping for him would be Jameer Nelson. Too bad the Cavs didn't draft him like I wanted them to rather than Luke Jackson. Of course if that were the case we probably wouldn't have Mo so maybe it's for the best.
Time to win a big away game tomorrow in Detroit.

Edit: AI is actually the guy that shouldn't be an All-Star. What retarded fans like this guy anyway? Maybe Ben Wallace can give him an injury tomorrow and get Mo in.

When Z is healthy he is a force. A man that tall with that mouch touch and range is just unfair.
