AV just got owned by Noah... that is embarassing. The same AV who wanted like $9million lol... as far as I'm concerned he can walk next year if he keeps being a pain like that... he has been terrible of late... got owned by Noah overall, couldn't score anything....... he plain sucks lately.

For the record, when Z gets back and god I hope that is sooner than later cause he is needed badly, Wallace and AV better never be on the same line for more than 3 minutes... both bad offensively, and lately Andy can't do anything period.... at least Ben can play some D.

Mike Dunleavy of the Pacers strips the ball from LeBron James during a first-quarter drive.

CLEVELAND -- After fans fought through more than a foot of snow to get to the Cavaliers game, LeBron James wanted to make sure their efforts were not in vain.
James scored 38 points and Anderson Varejao had 15 points and 16 rebounds in Cleveland's 103-95 win over the Indiana Pacers yesterday.
Though the attendance was nowhere near the announced 20,562, the 10,000 to 12,000 who braved the cold and drifting snow were appreciated.

Anderson Varejao has been a shell of himself since he sprained his ankle two months ago in Los Angeles.

After missing 13 games, he returned to the court Feb. 26 but hasn't been the player he was before the injury.
Varejao, however, made a step in the right direction Saturday afternoon.
"[Saturday's game] was huge for me," Varejao said. "I went back to playing the way I was playing before I got hurt. After Thursday's game against Chicago [a 107-96 loss], I felt I had to do something different."

Cavaliers game day
Z is on rebound, but out another week
Timetable for Ilgauskas, Gibson and Pavlovic to return is up in the air
By Brian Windhorst
Beacon Journal sportswriter

CLEVELAND: Zydrunas Ilgauskas is better, but still not ready to come back to the court.
Ilgauskas said Saturday that he has an inflamed disc in his lower back that was causing him debilitating pain a week ago when team doctors instructed him to cease all basketball-related activities for a while. Last Wednesday, Ilgauskas said he got an injection in his back and other medication plus rest have been helping him.

I am thinking that everyone should be ready to go by the game on the 26th against NO...

So that would give us 11 games before the playoffs start...

Sasha could be back in a week, supposedly had a very good workout today, and I still think that Z is just taking a couple week vacation to be ready for the stretch run and the playoffs...

Are you forgetting Boobie?

No rush for Boobie.

He can come back in the second round if he wants.. As long as we get that same 4/5 5/5 from 3 guy.

And I'll agree on the other injuries, they should be ready pretty soon.

We don't have any details on Boobie- or atleast I don't. I'd like to hear his status though. :(

No...He just has the longest time frame in terms of return time at the moment, and still unsure on when he will be back as he has not even started to work out on the ankle yet...I was just thinking that 2.5 more weeks would be a solid time frame in terms of when he went down and the time frame that have been mentioned...

Ilgauskas requires luck, care to continue Whether to allow Olympics play is among decisions Cavs face
Published on Monday, Mar 10, 2008

Zydrunas Ilgauskas' bad lower back is worrisome for the Cavaliers, and it might call for some long-term consideration.
The Cavs have known for years his back could be a problem, and Ilgauskas has suffered for some time now. He's been treating it with the same diligence that he does his feet, part of a complex maintenance routine designed by the Cavs doctors and athletic trainer Max Benton that has been a smashing success, all things considered.
But the back issues are part of the reason Ilgauskas struggled in back-to-back games in the past several seasons. Now he's got a bulging disc and he's treating it and crossing his fingers that rest and painkillers will improve it enough to get back on the court. There's no guarantee that it won't recur later in the season.

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Delonte West thankful his tough road led him to Cavs

Cav survives, thrives, arrives
Monday, March 10, 2008Mary Schmitt Boyer

n a cold and windy November night, Delonte West found himself all alone on a playground with a basketball and a prayer.
The 10-year-old dropped to his knees, placed the ball in front of him and spoke the words in his heart.
"Lord, this is all I ever want to do," he said, referring to playing the game of basketball. "It's all I know how to do. I never asked you for anything. Well, I did ask you that one time to put a treasure chest full of gold coins under my bed, and you never put those under my bed. But just help me get to the NBA. That's all I ask. I'll forgive you for the gold coins."
@StoryAd
Up until that time, life had been hard. "A mean story," is how the new Cavaliers guard summarized his youth.
Three things got him through -- faith, basketball and art. A gifted artist who writes poetry and can play music by ear, West used all three to cope with tough circumstances.
His parents divorced when he was young, leaving his mother to care for Delonte, his older brother, Dmitri, and younger sister, Danielle. Despite working two and three jobs to make ends meet, Delphina Addison had to move her family frequently to a series of small, cramped apartments in dangerous neighborhoods around Washington, D.C., and Prince George's County, Md.

Cleveland Cavaliers' Sasha Pavlovic expects to return this week

Monday, March 10, 2008 Jodie Valade

Plain Dealer Reporter
Sasha Pavlovic, for one, thinks his shooting stroke will return quickly. After all, the Cavaliers' shooting guard has been confined to endless solitary shooting drills while nursing a sprained left midfoot.
"I've been shooting a lot of jump shots the last 10 days," Pavlovic said. "I feel pretty good."
Pavlovic also reported feeling pretty good Sunday after engaging in his first full-contact practice since sustaining that midfoot sprain Jan. 23. If he continues to progress, Pavlovic said he expects to return to game action by the end of this week.
@StoryAd
That's a deadline that can't come fast enough for coach Mike Brown, who is patching together a lineup without guard Daniel "Boobie" Gibson (left ankle sprain) and center Zydrunas Ilgauskas (sore back). Though Pavlovic hasn't played since the Cavaliers acquired guards Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West, he hasn't lost playing time merely because he's been out injured, Brown said.
