Michael J. Polley insists he wasn't on an afternoon joyride when a Naperville cop clocked him going 99 in a 30 mph zone.
The 22-year-old Naperville man told a judge Wednesday he was test driving the 1995 black BMW for the car dealership where he worked.
The judge, though, didn't buy the excuse.

That sucks, I got caught doing 104 in a 65 and got 600 bux worth of fines and my license suspended for 30 days.

I thought if you did double the speed limit that it was an automatic arrest and $100+ fine.

Back in '92 I got a ticket for doing 85 in a 35 in Mt. Orbab.

My worst speed ding was 71 in a 35 as far as ratio to speed limit. The cop went nuts. It was kinda funny. :ohwell: The worst cost wise was when I got nailed on 90 going through Erie, PA. I think he got me doing 90+ in a 55 zone and if you have ever gotten a ticket in PA you know all the crap they add on to the cost of their traffic violations. Ended up being over $300.
