I do know that all of the major casinos have futures purchased for land in Havana. After he kicks would be cool if they made Cuba to be like Vegas was in the 50s - you know - before they turned the strip into Disney World.

There's no doubt that lots of folks are salivating over the possibility of turning Cuba into a giant resort/gambling/sin mecca. I myself wonder how the diving would be. It would be interesting to see how a country and people that have been so isolated and destitute adjust if billions and billions of development and later tourism dollars come pouring in

As a former dive-hard, (I had a couple of log books)I would think that much of Cuba's waters are an ecological disaster!
Go to Bonaire! :biggrin:
