There are a few texas fans on another message board i post to and they don't think the 'Shoe' is anything to worry about. They say A&M is just as tough of a place to win and they play there every other year. No will understand how great our mecca is until they have watched a game in 'Shoe'! 5 more days!!!

They must not know that it seats up to 106,000 devoted fans. We get louder than anyone and pride ourselves on the stadium we call home. Tressel (I blieve) has only 3 losses in his tenure in Ohio Stadium. Opponents heisman dreams and championship hopes die in The Shoe. Just wait till the game is over - they will all understand how much of a distraction our fans can be.

There are a few Vegas heads in here!

I live off of 95 and Wagonwheel! Me and lvbuckeye met at a bar about a year ago, the memory is vague. =\

Anyway, if any Vegas people are interested, I'm having an OSU/Texas party, all food included, BYOB though.

Anyway, the players who are allowed to address the media are well, WELL coaches as to what they can say and how they can say it. I think Jimmy T's modesty and respect rub off on his players. It certainly shows in post game interviews. Everyone credits their teammates, the other team, and is incredibly poised and mature about their statements. It really impresses me to see 19-21 year old people who are articulate enough to say the right things.

I can't wait until about 5:20pm (my time) on Saturday when Vince Young tries to scramble for yards and tried to juke Hawk/Carpenter/Schlegel/or Salley and gets a big scarlet stripe right in the teeth.

A Texas paper printed Carp's quote today, leaving out the "Our goal is to have.." at the beginning.

I knew this would happen. Taken out of context, the quote looks like smack talk. It's nice of the Texas paper to try to fire up their team, but if the players aren't ready for this game, some quotes in the newspaper aren't going to help.

Here's a clue for you bub...We down in TEXAS didn't put much value in beating a mediocre team that not only had been scheduled for years in advance, but regretably had to deal with the tragedy in Louisianna before coming to Austin...Mack pulled VY and the first team after 5 minutes in the 3rd quarter....this laugher could have become a 100+ point game, and nobody on the TEXAS team wanted to see that...Mack got done what needed to get done. The players got to beat up on somebody else instead of each other....they showed nothing for the film watchers in Columbus...ESPECIALLY on defense..They emptied the bench and walked away without any injuries...They have read your boasts, and prefer to let their game speak for itself..It willHook'em!

But the real question is why did he even come out in the second half? Anyway you did make a good point talk is cheap let it be said and heard on Saturday
