Carolina WR Dwayne Jarrett (official thread)

I was really surprised he lasted until the second round. I know I was pleading for the Eagles to take him in round 1 at #26 (until we traded with Dallas). His timed speed may not be blazing, but he runs very good routes, has great body control and has stickem hands. Not to mention he burned UM last year :(

In the locker room Wednesday, Dwayne Jarrett was speaking with reporters. Steve Smith approached the interview and asked Jarrett "Instead of talking to the media, why don't you go watch some film?"

Jarrett at first laughed, then Smith followed up by saying "Seriously," in a strong tone. Jarrett has been active for one game in his rookie year. It's not a good sign that he can't pass Keary Colbert, who has struggled as a starter.

He was arrested on March 11 at about 3 a.m. A Mint Hill police officer pulled him over after seeing him run a red light, according to records.
