I have iron in my water at home. The softener removes the iron from the household water but I didn't hook up my hose bibs to the softener as to not waste more softener salt than I have to.

I've noticed over the last year or two that my car has random orange "spots" all over and have consluded it's from the iron in my water.

I asked the guy at Jiffy Lube the other day about anything that may remove the spots and mentioned something he saw on the Speed Channel that you just hook your hose into and spray on to the car.

He mentioned maybe Jegs had it but I'm having some trouble finding it.

Any help is appreciated from resident gearheads.

Sure - found some instructional videos for ya, Thump

Word.

Thump, go to Advanced -- not AutoZone, IIRC -- for Mothers products. Good investment.
