Does anybody on this board actually like Noah?

Joakim Noah dislikes Kevin Garnett

Joakim Noah's candor is a quality that separates the Chicago Bulls center from many athletes, and when the subject is Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett, Noah's candor can turn into biting commentary.
Noah has gone from a fan who once had a Garnett poster in his room to someone who probably has a Garnett photo on his dartboard.
"Kevin Garnett will not -- will not -- get a Christmas gift from me," Noah said with a tinge of humor Wednesday on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "I don't like him."
The feud started, or perhaps escalated, during last season's playoffs. After Garnett was suspended for throwing an elbow at Quentin Richardson, Noah -- who was in Cleveland playing the Cavaliers -- chimed in that Garnett was a "dirty player."
The most recent incident was Friday night in Boston when Noah received a technical foul, and afterward said of Garnett: "He is who he is."
"He's a very mean guy," Noah said Wednesday. "Where's the love? None at all. Ugly, too."

Noah calling somebody ugly is like the kettle calling the pot black.

Yes, Noah is still an ASS!

Funny thing is that watching how he conducts himself here in Chicago, I've really grown to like the guy. He plays hard, is a solid "team guy" and has a hell of a lot more interesting (and intellectual) personality than 99% of the NBA.

Yes, he has always had an interesting (well at least different) personality; but apparently he wasn't "Mr. Intellectual" at Florida.

David Lee recalls trying to get Noah to class on time

Golden State forward David Lee won't play Thursday against the Bulls. His left elbow was sore and swollen after it collided with Wilson Chandler's mouth on Wednesday in New York.
Lee finished the game against the Knicks, but part of a Chandler tooth was removed from his arm after the game and he said this morning, the pain was unbearable. He visited the ER to get some antibiotics and hopes to play Saturday against Milwaukee.
In the meantime, Lee told some stories about his first meeting with Joakim Noah at Florida and his brush with the Bulls during free-agency this summer. Lee was a senior at Florida when Noah arrived as a freshman.
"Coach (Billy) Donovan told me that we had like a buddy system and I had to make sure he got to class on time ? which first of all, was absolutely impossible," Lee said. "So I said met me at this designated point, we'll walk to your first class, you have no idea where the building is. He said, "OK, cool D, cool."
"I see the guy on campus walking. He has shorts down below his waist, no shirt on and a boombox playing music while he's walking. He's like, "Yo, I'm ready for class." I'm like, "Jo, come on, man." He's like, "What?"
"So that was my first "getting him to class experience". He's a very free-spirited guy, but I think that's what makes him so special. There are very few guys and it?s a skill in the NBA, playing hard night in and night out and providing that constant effort. He's got a great skill set, but what makes him special is that intensity he brings every single night. That's why the Bulls are lucky to have him."

Dude came back for our second championship and lost millions in doing it - but got the second ring for Florida. There is actually nothing that required him to do that. We did not expect him to do that. That he did, well, as a college player for my alma mater, I cannot think of any player who did more for us than Noah or his teammates did for us than the guys who came back for the repeat. He will always have my appreciation and utmost respect.

The NBA plans to announce the suspension on Saturday, league sources said.

Noah tested positive for an over-the-counter supplement that is prohibited under the outgoing Collective Bargaining Agreement, league sources said.
