I think I know the problem. Bear with me on this one....
So....my wife has a cat. A few months ago, we noticed that the cat had a fishy odor to her. We took her to the vet, and the vet said she's just got too fat of an ass to keep it clean back there, and we may need to wipe back there.
Gave us some antibiotics and baby wipes and sent us on our way.
After 3 days of that shit, we got tired of it. So, we started looking at some other options (other than mine, which was two hot ones in the head).
We discovered that it may be her food. She was on Purina's Adult Indoor Cat Formula. When we looked at the ingredients, we discovered what it was that was making her keep all that weight...
Poultry by-product meal - basically the pieces of chicken WE don't eat.
Corn Meal - It's simply ground whole corn.
Corn gluten meal - Corn gluten meal comes from the production of vegetable oil and is an excellent source of protein.
Brewers Rice - It's actually whole and broken grains of rice that gives cats a great source of carbs. They say it doesn't come from a brewery, but the cat had a beer gut.
Soy flour meal - Comes from finely ground soybeans, after their oil has been removed.
Taurine - It's an amino acid. And cats need it, but their bodies don't produce enough of it.
Animal Fat - For cats, fat provides energy and helps keep their coat healthy. Unfortunatly, her ass was fat as well.
So, the wife and I had a thought. It's the
CORN in her diet making her fat, slow, lazy and nasty.
We switched her food to natural pet food. No problems since then. And she's lost weight, and her coat looks good.
You're asking yourself - What the hell does this have to do with the Huskers?
Too much corn in the diet. Slow dudes on Defense, un-disciplined, and lazy. Head coach is irritable. Too much corn in our diets. We need to learn how to recruit leaner, faster, hard hitting defenders. How do we do that?
Change the diet. Can the head coach.....or assistants. Something has to give, and we're getting tired of our asses smelling like fishy shiat.
