Capital One Bowl: Michigan 41, Florida 35 (final)

UM will be radically different next year, from a scheme, conditioning & personnel standpoint. Still that statement is extremely hard to comprehend what he means. Also, I like last year's Michigan & next year's Michigan much better than this year's... so that doesn't support the UM upset stance, imo.

To answer your question ubet, they lose QB Henne, RB Hart, OT Long, OG Kraus (top-3 OL for them), LB Crable, both Safeties. They may lose Mallett (arky?), Manningham (likely), Arrington (hinges on mallett a bit), DT Taylor (best defensive player)... and possibly a handful of transfers.

Plus there are always some 4th year juniors UM does not invite back.

Henne and Hart are supposed to be near 100% so I figure if Hart gets 200 yards rushing then scum will win
I agree , not about the 200 yards s much as Scum's chances have a lot to do with Hart's yardage since he is so much of their offense and if he gets that much then Henne will be having time to throw the ball.

I like the gators though in this one.

U-M linebacker Shawn Crable provided the first bulletin board material for
the Capital One Bowl when he was asked about Florida QB and Heisman
Trophy winner Tim Tebow.

"I think y'all are too concerned with this Tebow, I mean he's just a
quarterback, Crable said Saturday. "He's really not (different.) He's got
some freakish stats because they use him differently, they use him in the
red zone a lot to run the ball but he's nothing more exceptional than we've
ever played against.

"If you ask me about Dennis Dixon or you ask me about Vince Young, I'd be like,
now those are some freakish people. You ask me about this guy, he's just a quarterback."

Guy has a nice mouth. Two questions:

1) was he running it before The Game?; and

2) how'd he do?

Don't worry about Crable. He just loves hitting quarterbacks. Whether or not the ball is already on its way to the receiver is no object.
The Tony Bua factor - as we say in the SEC.

(Bless him - he single handedly gave the Gators a win with his late hits)

apparently Crable doesn't know about Geno Hayes.

Well, Michigan doesn't have the market cornered on bulletin board material...

"I don't know what the problem was with all them other quarterbacks, but I know Tim works harder than ever and he's going to do whatever he can to help this team win," receiver Andre Caldwell said. "I don't see Michigan having a chance at stopping him and making him have a bad game."

There must be a football game going on or something.
