Not quite. The true fan either get's their pet an OSU tattoo, or better yet, gets a tattoo of their pet wearing OSU gear. Our dog has an OSU tattoo. Kinda like this, but a with a pic of Brutus:

Cry for the dog. Laugh at the parents. Laugh AT them. Make sure they know you're laughing at them. If they think you're laughing WITH them, they'll be more likely to continue this behavior.
